Staff Photographer, Oct. 2007 - July 2009
· Photographed and edited general news, spot news, portraiture, and sports photos regularly five days a week for 30 hours a week, shooting between one and four assignments per shift.
· Spent work hours and personal time working on photo stories.
· Regularly shot photos to be shared with sister papers, including The Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin, The Elmira Star Gazette, The Journal News, and The Democrat and Chronicle. Traveled to Binghamton four times to help their photo department.
· Worked very independently and shared editor duties such as setting up assignments, making schedules for myself and interns, working with reporters to make arrangements, training interns, archiving photos, taking care of photo reprint orders, and handling customer inquiries.
· Had photos picked up by The Utica Observer, ECAC Hockey, The Cornell Chronicle, The Boston Globe, USA Today and The New York Times.
· Learned how to produce and edit videos.
