Jade Simmons, 8, and her classmates learn about the human body by walking through various rooms that were set up to look like body parts in the gymnasium of Blue Ridge Elementary School in Columbia, Missouri. Jade lives a busy life for an eight year old. She is constantly busy with school and after school clubs. Jade and her brother Freeman Simmons, 10, wake up every morning at 6 a.m. and get themselves ready for school. Their mother, Latrese Simmons, leaves for work shortly after they wake. Once they have showered and are leaving for the bus stop they call their mom at her probation and parole job to let her know that they are ready. They arrive at school early and eat breakfast there. During school Jade gets her work done and enjoys helping others to finish their work as well. Her favorite part of school is music class, which makes sense because Jade is singing and dancing throughout the entire day.
